Mamas.Are.Magic. I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again. I waited all summer to shoot an intimate River Valley maternity session and finally this brave mama fell into my hands and was up for all visions. Yes, i said brave, because it was the very last day of September when she shot this session and if you live in Edmonton (or Alberta in general) you’ll know that end of September is really pushing it for any type of water session. It wasn’t necessarily FREEZING but it wasn’t a mid August afternoon thats for sure. We were actually super blessed with our fall in 2020, and this session was a reason i was grateful for that.

I picked up an amazing, locally grown bouquet from https://www.poppywynn.com/ that just complimented this mama and session beautifully.

Now it’s early 2021 and here i sit daydreaming of the day when i can shoot all of the intimate River Valley maternity sessions again. Is it Summer yet?
